Environmental education is a vital foundation for environmental protection. The purpose is to educate citizens’ responsibility for the environment. The preschool is an important time of transition for young children. It marks the bridge between early childhood education and the primary grades of school. Based on preschool, the early childhood attitude towards the environment and emotion is an important stage to develop environmental literacy. Environmental Protection Administration Executive Yuan promotes this program to hold the workshops that train preschool teachers to use multi-teachings of children's plays, board games and storytelling. The achievement is to improve the preschool teachers' design ability and properly adjust the environmental education lesson plans to meet the conditions of children learning. Participants in the workshops are all current teachers of the public and private kindergartens. The 4 workshops which were held in the Eastern, Southern, Central and North Districts of Taiwan, a total of 187 teachers. During the workshops, team working together to produce 29 enhanced lesson plans. The participating teachers will integrate the enhanced lesson plans into the activities. Let children recognize the importance of environmental protection, and protects the environment. At the same time, the participating teachers can also upload the teaching results and ideas through back-to-school implementation.
